LuckLand Co., Ltd. (TSE:9612) signed an agreement to acquire 87.8% stake in Nippon P.I Co., Ltd from Kozo Nakahata and others on December 27, 2017. LuckLand will acquire 0.07 million shares of Nippon P.I. Upon completion, Nippon P.I Co., Ltd will operate as a subsidiary of LuckLand. Nippon P.I Co., Ltd reported total assets of ¥323.8 million, net assets of ¥233.4 million, sales of ¥704.6 million, operating income of ¥3.9 million and net income of ¥1.9 million for the year ended August 31, 2017. The transaction is resolved by the Board of LuckLand Co., Ltd on December 27, 2017 and the transaction is expected to complete on January 11, 2018.
