Compañía Minera Autlán S.A.B. Of C.V. Announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was USD 114.768 million compared to USD 116.074 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 10.796 million compared to USD 19.301 million a year ago. Net income was USD 6.427 million compared to USD 1.888 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.0183 compared to USD 0.00686 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was USD 329.092 million compared to USD 306.565 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 27.347 million compared to USD 60.433 million a year ago. Net income was USD 7.874 million compared to USD 30.453 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.12775 compared to USD 0.11103 a year ago.
Compania Minera Autlan SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the mining, exploitation, production and sale of manganese ore and manganese ferroalloys. The Companyâs activities are divided into three divisions: Ferroalloys, Manganese and Energy. The Ferroalloys division is responsible for the manufacture of manganese ferroalloys for steel sector, including high, medium and low carbon ferromanganese, as well as silicomanganese, among others. The Manganese division focuses on manufacturing of manganese nodules, manganese carbonates, battery and ceramic grade natural manganese dioxides and manganous oxide. The Energy division generates energy through hydroelectric power plant. The Company operates through a number of subsidiaries, such as Autlan Metal Services SA de CV, which offers complementary products of the steel industry to its customers. The Company is owned by Autlan Holding SAPI de CV.
