Compañía Minera Autlán, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 175.78 million compared to USD 98.73 million a year ago. Net income was USD 26.77 million compared to net loss of USD 4.22 million a year ago. Compania Minera Autlan SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the mining, exploitation, production and sale of manganese ore and manganese ferroalloys. The Companyâs activities are divided into three divisions: Ferroalloys, Manganese and Energy. The Ferroalloys division is responsible for the manufacture of manganese ferroalloys for steel sector, including high, medium and low carbon ferromanganese, as well as silicomanganese, among others. The Manganese division focuses on manufacturing of manganese nodules, manganese carbonates, battery and ceramic grade natural manganese dioxides and manganous oxide. The Energy division generates energy through hydroelectric power plant. The Company operates through a number of subsidiaries, such as Autlan Metal Services SA de CV, which offers complementary products of the steel industry to its customers. The Company is owned by Autlan Holding SAPI de CV.
