Agile Content, S.A. agreed to acquire TV division Euskaltel, S.A. for 32 million.

Agile Content, S.A. (BME:AGIL) agreed to acquire TV division of Euskaltel, S.A. for 32 million on August 11, 2021. Agile Content will pay 60 per cent of the acquisition with its own financial resources and the rest in the next 12 months. MásMóvil CEO Meinrad Spenger becomes CEO also of Euskaltel, with the latter's Xavier Iturbe serving as president.
Previous Euskaltel CEO José Miguel García will serve as an external adviser to the group. The Euskaltel board now comprises nine members, with Beatriz Mato and Iñaki Alzaga serving as Independent Directors, joined by Providence representative Stefano Bosio, KKR's Jorge Lluch and Cinven's Miguel Segura, External Director Josep María Echarri and Executive Director Germán López.
Agile Content SA is a Spain-based company primarily engaged in the provision of information technology (IT) services. The Company focuses on the development, distribution and promotion of IT platforms used in the production and editing of audiovisual, online and digital content, as well as in the provision of Web content management (WCM) services.
