Vergnet, a specialist in renewable energies, expressed confidence on Tuesday for 2023 after reporting an order book of 69.8 million euros for the new financial year.

Analysts at Invest Securities point out that this figure, which relates to December 31, 2022, is up sharply on the 38.3 million euros recorded at the end of 2021.

In its press release, Vergnet explains that the second half of the 2022 financial year enabled it to consolidate its collaborations with customers and develop new business.

We are starting the year confident and serene, thanks to orders in line with our objectives", commented CEO Cyril Ledran.

These orders cover areas ranging from New Caledonia and Wallis and Futuna to Brazil and the Caribbean.

He added: "We are convinced that 2023 will be the year in which Vergnet regains its commercial foothold worldwide.

These positive prospects enabled the share to take off on Tuesday on Euronext Paris, with its share price soaring 126% by mid-day after being suspended several times in the morning.
