Toung Loong Textile MFG. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,330.926 million compared to TWD 572.451 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 141.932 million compared to operating loss of TWD 28.144 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 95.929 million compared to net loss of TWD 13.949 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.8 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.12 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,419.009 million compared to TWD 1,321.948 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 213.414 million compared to TWD 4.310 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 154.739 million compared to TWD 13.812 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.29 compared to TWD 0.11 a year ago.
Toung Loong Textile Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of yarns. The Company's products consist of sewing threads, including zipper sewing threads, spun polyester (SP) threads, polyester yarns, nylon threads and bonded threads, and yarns for apparels, such as label yarns, Velcro yarns, air textured yarns, textured yarns and woven yarns. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania and others.
