Toung Loong Textile MFG. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 572.451 million compared to TWD 907.743 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 28.144 million compared to operating Income of TWD 80.462 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 13.949 million compared to net income of TWD 63.231 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.12 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.52 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,321.948 million compared to TWD 1,776.069 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 4.310 million compared to TWD 153.265 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 13.812 million compared to TWD 120.606 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.11 compared to TWD 1 a year ago.
Toung Loong Textile Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of yarns. The Company's products consist of sewing threads, including zipper sewing threads, spun polyester (SP) threads, polyester yarns, nylon threads and bonded threads, and yarns for apparels, such as label yarns, Velcro yarns, air textured yarns, textured yarns and woven yarns. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania and others.
