Test Research, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,552.734 million compared to TWD 1,487.104 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 470.496 million compared to TWD 500.050 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 347.368 million compared to TWD 372.127 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.47 compared to TWD 1.58 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.47 compared to TWD 1.57 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,900.506 million compared to TWD 2,649.605 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 857.021 million compared to TWD 818.670 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 642.960 million compared to TWD 642.278 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.72 compared to TWD 2.72 a year ago.

The Circuit Boards Testing Equipment segment is mainly engaged in the manufacturing of circuit board testing equipment. The Semiconductors Testing Equipment segment is engaged in the manufacturing of testing equipment for chips and end products. The Company is also engaged in the provision of labor services. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets, including the Peopleâs Republic of China (the PRC), the United States of America (the USA) and other countries and regions.
