Test Research, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,487.104 million compared to TWD 1,219.732 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 500.050 million compared to TWD 344.076 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 372.127 million compared to TWD 282.035 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.58 compared to TWD 1.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.57 compared to TWD 1.19 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,649.605 million compared to TWD 2,196.091 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 818.670 million compared to TWD 620.653 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 642.278 million compared to TWD 520.433 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.72 compared to TWD 2.2 a year ago.
Test Research, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of circuit board testing equipment. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Circuit Boards Testing Equipment segment is mainly engaged in the manufacturing of circuit board testing equipment. The Semiconductors Testing Equipment segment is engaged in the manufacturing of testing equipment for chips and end products. The Company is also engaged in the provision of labor services. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets, including the Peopleâs Republic of China (the PRC), the United States of America (the USA) and other countries and regions.
