Sankyo Tateyama, Inc. (TSE:5932) concluded a contract to acquire furniture store business from Kokuyo Co., Ltd. (TSE:7984) for ¥1.7 billion on September 27, 2017. Sankyo Tateyama, Inc. will make the payment in cash on December 29, 2017. The Board of Directors of Sankyo Tateyama, Inc. and Kokuyo Co., Ltd. approved the transaction on September 27, 2017. The transaction is expected to be completed on January 1, 2018. Nijubashi General Accounting Office acted as third party appraiser to Sankyo Tateyama. Daiwa Institute of Research, Ltd. acted as third party appraiser for Kokuyo Co., Ltd.
