RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 104.2 million compared to TWD 205.02 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.9 million compared to TWD 93.53 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 1.38 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 282.22 million compared to TWD 391.44 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 77.26 million compared to TWD 186.84 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.14 compared to TWD 2.76 a year ago.
RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of microcontroller unit (MCU) semiconductor components. The Company provides MCU chips, which are applied in industrial personal computers (IPCs), flat panel displays (FPDs), measurement instruments, as well as microprocessor chips, which are applied in industrial computers boards, industrial controllers, industrial panel personal computers (PCs), computer numerical control (CNC) controller and others. It also provides network processor system on chips (SoCs) and Internet access device (IAD) platforms. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
