Pt. Andira Agro, Tbk Reports Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2021

PT. Andira Agro, Tbk announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was IDR 85,739.506 million compared to IDR 86,288.884 million a year ago. Operating income was IDR 10,305.719 million compared to IDR 18,310.153 million a year ago. Net income was IDR 6,732.947 million compared to IDR 13,002.089 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was IDR 2.92 compared to IDR 5.59 a year ago.
PT Andira Agro Tbk is an Indonesia-based company that is engaged in the plantation, agriculture and palm oil mill sectors. The main business activities of the Company are land cultivation, seeding, nurseries, planting, maintenance and harvesting of oil palm fruit and processing of oil palm fruit into crude oil (CPO) and palm kernel crude oil (PK). The plantation owned by Company is located in district of Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra province, Indonesia, approximately 70 kilometers (kms) from Palembang (Plantation). Apart from managing its own plantations, the Company also cooperates with cooperatives in the form of smallholdings.
