Minera Frisco, S.A.B. de C.V. reported production and earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2019. For the quarter, Gold production was 27,915 oz against 53,792 oz a year ago. Silver production was 1,099,816 oz against 1,823,048 oz a year ago. Copper production was 6,870 tonnes against 6,394 tonnes a year ago. Lead production reached 3,569 tons, this is a reduction by 10% when comparing to 2018. Zinc production in the fourth quarter reached 11,755 tons, this is 3% less when comparing to 2019 to 2018.
For the quarter, net sales were MXN 2,301.8 million against MXN 3,631.4 million a year ago. Operating loss was MXN 596.5 million against MXN 778.5 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 709.0 million against MXN 1,915.9 million a year ago.
Minera Frisco SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged in the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources. The Companyâs main activities comprise the production and sale of lead-silver concentrates, zinc concentrates, copper concentrates, copper in cathode and gold and silver rods. The staged operations include the location, investigation and compilation of information in the prospective areas considered for possible existence of minerals; conducting detailed geological study in the prospective areas, and finally conducting exploration methods directly in the prospective areas as a result of the previous stages.
