Minera Frisco, S.A.B. De C.V. Announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was MXN 3,358.446 million compared to MXN 2,345.766 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 381.494 million compared to operating loss of MXN 32.381 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 263.589 million compared to net loss of MXN 348.606 million a year ago. For the half year, sales was MXN 6,288.694 million compared to MXN 4,560.941 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 847.647 million compared to operating loss of MXN 293.371 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 574.849 million compared to MXN 4,980.311 million a year ago.
Minera Frisco SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged in the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources. The Companyâs main activities comprise the production and sale of lead-silver concentrates, zinc concentrates, copper concentrates, copper in cathode and gold and silver rods. The staged operations include the location, investigation and compilation of information in the prospective areas considered for possible existence of minerals; conducting detailed geological study in the prospective areas, and finally conducting exploration methods directly in the prospective areas as a result of the previous stages. The Company owns such subsidiaries as Minera CRA SA de CV, Minera CX SA de CV, Minera Tayahua SA de CV, Minera San Francisco del Oro, SA de CV, as well as Multiservicios de Exploracion Geologica Frisco, SA de CV, among others.
