Minera Frisco, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 1,627.11 million compared to MXN 2,945.24 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 770.18 million compared to MXN 240.99 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.13 compared to MXN 0.04 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.13 compared to MXN 0.04 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MXN 6,612.07 million compared to MXN 9,972.07 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 302.93 million compared to net income of MXN 543.48 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.05 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.09 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.05 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.09 a year ago.
Minera Frisco SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged in the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources. The Companyâs main activities comprise the production and sale of lead-silver concentrates, zinc concentrates, copper concentrates, copper in cathode and gold and silver rods. The staged operations include the location, investigation and compilation of information in the prospective areas considered for possible existence of minerals; conducting detailed geological study in the prospective areas, and finally conducting exploration methods directly in the prospective areas as a result of the previous stages.
