Amen Bank Société anonyme announced that it has received $48.30 million in funding from IFC Asset Management Company, LLC and International Finance Corporation.

Amen Bank Société anonyme (BVMT:AB) announced a private placement of common shares for gross proceeds of $48,300,000 on October 18, 2012. The transaction will include participation from International Finance Corporation for proceeds of $5,630,000, African Capitalization fund and IFC Recapitalization Fund that are funds managed by IFC Asset Management Company, LLC will invest the balance. The transaction was approved by International Finance Corporation.

On June 11, 2013, Amen Bank Société anonyme closed the transaction. Jean-Gabriel Flandrois, Badis Jedidi, Baba Hady Thiam, and Erwan Ogier of Gide Loyrette Nouel acted as the legal advisors to International Finance Corporation.
