Amen Bank Société anonyme announced that it expects to receive $48.3 million in funding from IFC Asset Management Company, LLC and International Finance Corporation.

Amen Bank Société anonyme (BVMT:AB) announced a private placement of common shares for gross proceeds of $48,300,000 on October 18, 2012. The transaction will include participation from International Finance Corporation for proceeds of $5,630,000, African Capitalization fund and IFC Recapitalization Fund that are funds managed by IFC Asset Management Company, LLC will invest the balance. The transaction was approved by International Finance Corporation.
