The Lead Co., Inc. announced earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2018. For the period, the company reported Net Sales were JPY 2,694 million compared to JPY 2,426 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 132 million compared to JPY 133 million a year ago. Ordinary loss was JPY 116 million compared to JPY 115 million a year ago. Net loss was JPY 124 million compared to JPY 124 million a year ago. Net loss per share was JPY 48.56 compared to JPY 47.40 a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, the company expects net sales of JPY 5,960 million, operating loss of JPY 170 million, ordinary loss of JPY 140 million, net income of JPY 40 million and net income per share of JPY 15.55.
The Lead Co., Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of outdoor lighting equipment, cabinets and automobile parts, such as sheet metal, painting and resin molding products. The Company operates in three segments. The Automobile Parts segment provides bumpers, spoilers, hand brake lever systems and others. The In-house Products segment provides information communications racks, general-purpose electronic equipment cases, chassis, solar lights and light-emitting diode (LED) lighting, among others. The Real Estate Leasing segment is engaged in the leasing of stores.
