Jinwon ENC Ltd., YM Construction Co. Ltd., Osya Holdings Co.,Ltd and Joong-Yang Park entered into an agreement to acquire an additional 60.39% stake in Seoul Credit Rating & Information Inc. (KOSE:A036120) from SB Partners Co., Ltd. and eight other shareholders for KRW 21.4 billion on August 30, 2012. Jinwon ENC Ltd. is acquiring 14.45 million shares representing 40.7% stake, Joong Yang is acquiring 1.8 million shares representing 4.9% stake in Seoul Credit Rating & Information and YM Construction Co. Ltd. and Osya Holdings Co.,Ltd are acquiring 5.24 million shares representing 14.79% stake. Sellers includes Medical Industry Investment Co. Ltd. selling 8.73% stake, Suncrest Inc. selling 8.73% stake, Yesol Savings Bank Co., Ltd. selling 2.28% stake, San Kyeong Golf & Leisure Consulting Co. Ltd selling 1.79% stake, Alpine Technology Investment Co. Ltd. selling 0.99% stake, BUSAN Mutual Savings Bank Co., Ltd. selling 13.24% stake and Gun Lee selling 3.94% stake in Seoul Credit Rating & Information. The buyers paid KRW 2.14 billion on signing the contract and the remaining will be paid on closing. YM Construction Co. Ltd., Osya Holdings Co.,Ltd and Joong-Yang Park were already shareholders of Seoul Credit Rating & Information Inc. The transaction is expected to close at completion date of pre-requisites such as approved date for changing largest shareholders pursuant to Credit Information Law and its related law or November 30, 2012.
