Møns Bank A/S (CPSE:MNBA) agreed to acquire Kongsted Sparekasse on February 11, 2013. The deal is subject to approval by shareholders committee, Board of Kongsted Sparekasse and Financial Supervisory Authority. The deal is expected to complete by May 1, 2013.

Møns Bank A/S (CPSE:MNBA) completed the acquisition of Kongsted Sparekasse on May 2, 2013. The merged bank will be named Møns Bank, while Kongsted Sparekasse's license for bank operations will be given up. The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority approved the deal.
