On Friday evening, Lanson-BCC reported net income for the first half of 2023 up 14.7% to nearly 11.6 million euros, and profit from recurring operations (ROC) up 47.4% to over 19.2 million.

This growth in the champagne house's results was underpinned by an improved price/product mix and value creation, while its sales, at almost 109.1 million euros, fell by 5.2% year-on-year.

In the absence of visibility for the end of the year, Lanson-BCC has not published a forecast for the full year, but believes that 'the fine 2023 harvest currently underway, reinforcing that of 2022, should enable a recovery in volumes in the medium term'.
