Magic Display Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 44.67% stake in Korea Steel Shapes Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A007280) from KSS Holdings Co.,Ltd. for KRW 19.7 billion on March 25, 2020. As reported, KSS Holdings will transfer 14.5 million shares in Korea Steel Shapes Co., Ltd. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of Korea Steel Shapes Co., Ltd. on March 25, 2020. The transaction is expected to close on April 24, 2020.
Korea Steel Co Ltd, formerly Korea Steel Shapes Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and sale of steel products. The Companyâs products include billets, section steels, such as equal angles, un-equal angles, channels, checked channels, elevator rails, profiles and others, steel bars, such as round steel bars, screw bar steels and square bar steels, as well as flat steels, among others.
