GTPL Hathway Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 7,791.95 million compared to INR 6,549.77 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 7,899.73 million compared to INR 6,619.54 million a year ago. Net income was INR 342.19 million compared to INR 448.63 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.05 compared to INR 3.99 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 15,536.37 million compared to INR 12,858.73 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 15,705.43 million compared to INR 13,073.67 million a year ago. Net income was INR 701.38 million compared to INR 881.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.24 compared to INR 7.84 a year ago.
GTPL Hathway Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in distribution of television channels through digital cable distribution network. It also provides broadband services. It offer a variety of digital cable television services for all customer preferences, including standard definition, high definition and a combination of cable television and over-the-top (OTT) services (Hybrid). It is present across 1,200 plus towns in 22 states across 1500+ towns with presence in states of Gujarat, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, and Haryana. The Company offers broadband services through GTPL Broadband Private Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary (GTPL Broadband). GTPL Broadband offers high speed and unlimited data broadband to its customers using the Gigabit Passive Optical Network - Fiber to the Home (GPON- FTTH).
