Engie Energia Chile S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 511.96 million compared to USD 499.68 million a year ago. Net income was USD 42.65 million compared to net loss of USD 17.75 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.04 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.017 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 1,715.92 million compared to USD 1,398.93 million a year ago. Net income was USD 69.5 million compared to net loss of USD 58.16 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.066 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.055 a year ago.
