Engie Energia Chile S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 499.68 million compared to USD 365.75 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 17.75 million compared to net income of USD 8.66 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.017 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.008 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 1,398.93 million compared to USD 1,086.54 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 58.16 million compared to net income of USD 38.66 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.055 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.037 a year ago.
