Daiwa Motor Transportation Co., Ltd. (TSE:9082) agreed to acquire Business of Marui Jidosha K.K on March 23, 2020. As per the transaction, a new company will formed by a way of new company split named as Marui Jidosha Co., Ltd. which will take over the business of Marui Jidosha K.K. Upon the completion of the transaction, Marui Jidosha Co., Ltd will become the wholly owned subsidiary of Daiwa Motor Transportation Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to be completed by April 1, 2020.

The Company operates in three business segments. Passenger Car Transportation segment is involved in hired car business, operation management business and taxi business. Real Estate segment is involved in the provision of leasing, trading, brokerage, management and cleaning services. Sale segment is involved in the sale of fuel and materials, the manufacture and sale of metal products, as well as the sale and repair of automobile meters.
