Crown Place VCT year-end net asset value falls

Crown Place VCT PLC - venture capital trust - Net asset value per share at June 30 year-end falls 1.7% on-year to 33.13 pence from 33.70p. "The year saw the company's portfolio facing a challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical backdrop due to high inflation, rising interest rates and political instability which has caused the valuation of quoted technology companies to fall sharply," Crown Plaza said. Crown Plaza pays 1.63 pence per share worth of dividends during the year, down from 3.21p the year prior. Financial 2022 figure included a special dividend of 1.50p per share.
