Chosun Refractories Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A000480) agreed to acquire Chosun Refractory ENG Co., Ltd for KRW 43.7 billion on May 26, 2021. As reported, Chosun Refractories Co.,Ltd. will acquire 0.5 million shares of Chosun Refractory ENG Co., Ltd for a cash consideration. For the year ended December 31, 2020, Chosun Refractory ENG Co., Ltd reported total assets of KRW 53.7 billion, total equity of KRW 33.7 billion, and net income of KRW 7.7 billion. The Board of Directors of Chosun Refractories Co.,Ltd. resolved the transaction on May 26, 2021. The acquisition is expected to close on May 31, 2021.
