Badger Meter, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 186.19 million compared to USD 148.01 million a year ago. Net income was USD 25.97 million compared to USD 17.93 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.89 compared to USD 0.61 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.88 compared to USD 0.61 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 521.15 million compared to USD 418.24 million a year ago. Net income was USD 67.88 million compared to USD 48.96 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.32 compared to USD 1.68 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.3 compared to USD 1.67 a year ago.
