Jiangsu Lugang Culture Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2020. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 592.336 million compared to CNY 1,735.615 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 1,042.925 million compared to operating Income of CNY 101.864 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 1,023.004 million compared to net income of CNY 76.650 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 1.15 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.09 a year ago.
Zhewen Pictures Group Co Ltd, formerly Jiangsu Lugang Culture Co Ltd, is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of knitted woolen yarns and worsted woolen fabrics. The Company primarily provides worsted yarns, semi-worsted yarns and worsted woolen fabrics. Its products are applied in the manufacture of shirts, suits and others. The Company is also engaged in the production and distribution of traditional television (TV) series, the investment and distribution of movies, as well as the development, production and distribution of new media products such as network dramas. Through its subsidiaries, the Company also engages in hotel business. The Company conducts its businesses in domestic and overseas markets.
