Metaport Inc. announced a private placement of 2800 common shares at a price of KRW 45,000 per share for gross proceeds of KRW 126,000,000 on April 28, 2017. The transaction involved investment from new investor Zaigle Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A234920). The company reported total assets of KRW 851, total liabilities of KRW 776, total capital of KRW 75, capital of KRW 50, revenue of KRW 237, and net income of KRW 6 for the year ended December 31, 2016. Post the transaction, the investor will hold 15.14% stake in the company. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company.
ZAIGLE Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and distribution of cooking apparatus. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Kitchen Electric Appliances segment manufactures and distributes roasters under the brand names of ZAIGLE-HANDSOME, ZAIGLE-PLUS and others.
