Inaba Foods Co.,Ltd. made an offer to acquire Yaizu Suisankagaku Industry Co.,Ltd. (TSE:2812) from Ssk Foods Co.,Ltd., Shizuoka Engyo K.K., Belle Carriere Co., Ltd. and other shareholders for on February 5, 2024.
YAIZU SUISANKAGAKU INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of seasonings, functional foods, seafood and other foods. The Company operates through three business segments. The Seasoning segment is engaged in the production of various extracts, oils, soups, powder seasonings, flavored seasonings, various low-salt seasonings, mustard and other spices. The Functional Materials segment is engaged in the production of marine functional materials such as chitin, chitosan, oligosaccharides and theaflavins. The Marine Products segment is engaged in frozen tuna and bonito processing business, marine products wholesaler business, warehouse business and others.
