WH Smith PLC reported earnings results for the half year ended February 29, 2024. For the half year, the company reported sales was GBP 926 million compared to GBP 859 million a year ago. Net income was GBP 17 million compared to GBP 32 million a year ago.

Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was GBP 0.132 compared to GBP 0.246 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was GBP 0.13 compared to GBP 0.241 a year ago.
