Wacoal Holdings Corp. provided consolidated earnings guidance for the six months period ending September 30, 2023 and fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. For the six months, the company expects revenue to be JPY 103,000 million, business profit to be JPY 4,500 million, operating profit to be JPY 4,400 million, profit before income taxes to be JPY 5,500 million, net profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 3,900 million and basic earnings per share to be JPY 67.23.
For the fiscal year, the company expects revenue to be JPY 205,000 million, business profit to be JPY 6,000 million, operating profit to be JPY 6,000 million, profit before income taxes to be JPY 7,000 million, net profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 4,800 million and basic earnings per share to be JPY 82.74.
WACOAL HOLDINGS CORP. is a holding company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and wholesale of innerwear, which include women's foundation wear, lingerie, nightwear and children's underwear; outerwear; sportswear, and other textile goods and related products, as well as the direct sale of certain products to consumers. The Company has four segments: Wacoal business (Domestic), Wacoal business (Overseas), Peach John Business and Other. The Wacoal Business (Domestic) segment is engaged in the planning, design of products, the procurement of raw materials, as well as the provision of products to end consumers through domestic department stores, mass retailers and other general retail stores, directly managed stores, e-commerce sites and domestic and overseas sales companies. The Wacoal Business (Overseas) segment manufactures, sells products such as innerwear. The Peach John Business segment retails products. The Others segment include the manufacture and sale of mannequin dolls.
