Vitru Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 400.83 million compared to BRL 148.06 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 35.81 million compared to BRL 3.01 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.25 compared to BRL 0.13 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.13 compared to BRL 0.12 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was BRL 886.63 million compared to BRL 465.21 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 80.6 million compared to BRL 40.26 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 3.13 compared to BRL 1.74 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 2.89 compared to BRL 1.63 a year ago.
