Vitru Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 308.02 million compared to BRL 166.45 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 20.86 million compared to BRL 15.56 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.82 compared to BRL 0.68 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.76 compared to BRL 0.63 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was BRL 485.81 million compared to BRL 317.15 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 44.8 million compared to BRL 37.25 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.84 compared to BRL 1.62 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.72 compared to BRL 1.51 a year ago.
