UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 206.35 million compared to TWD 155.33 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 21.85 million compared to TWD 55.92 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.57 compared to TWD 1.47 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.54 compared to TWD 1.47 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 538.49 million compared to TWD 376.83 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 74.2 million compared to TWD 61.16 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.93 compared to TWD 1.59 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.89 compared to TWD 1.58 a year ago.
UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the provision of coating original equipment manufacturing (OEM) services and the manufacture and sale of vacuum sputtering equipment. The Company's coating OEM services include the surface coating processing of consumer electronics, anti-electro-magnetic interference (EMI) coating processing, various of optical coating services, non conductive vacuum metallization (NCVM) and high- and low-temperature indium tin oxide (ITO) coating services, among others. Its vacuum sputtering equipment includes in-line continuous sputters, plasma surface treatment machines, solar equipment, touch panel coating equipment and other types of coating equipment, among others. The Company distributes its products in domestic markets and to overseas markets.
