UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 229.99 million compared to TWD 255.86 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 31.69 million compared to TWD 54.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.82 compared to TWD 1.42 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.74 compared to TWD 1.28 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 377.71 million compared to TWD 401.62 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 39.51 million compared to TWD 77.74 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.02 compared to TWD 2.01 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.93 compared to TWD 1.82 a year ago.
UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the provision of coating original equipment manufacturing (OEM) services and the manufacture and sale of vacuum sputtering equipment. The Company's coating OEM services include the surface coating processing of consumer electronics, anti-electro-magnetic interference (EMI) coating processing, various of optical coating services, non conductive vacuum metallization (NCVM) and high- and low-temperature indium tin oxide (ITO) coating services, among others. Its vacuum sputtering equipment includes in-line continuous sputters, plasma surface treatment machines, solar equipment, touch panel coating equipment and other types of coating equipment, among others. The Company distributes its products in domestic markets and to overseas markets.
