Union Tobacco & Cigarette Industries Company (ASE:UTOB) agreed to acquire Union Advanced Industries Co, Plc. (ASE:UADI) on March 5, 2013. As on March 5, 2013, the shareholders of Union Advanced Industries have approved the merger and mandated the Board to carry out the merger procedures.
The approval of Amman Stock Exchange was received on November 24, 2013 to delist Union Advanced Industries from the stock exchange on December 8, 2013, due to merger with Union Tobacco and Cigarette Industries.
