TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 3,582.62 million compared to MXN 2,494.4 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 102.96 million compared to net loss of MXN 77.29 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.03. TV Azteca SAB de CV (TV Azteca) is a Mexico-based company engaged in the production, broadcasting, marketing of free-to-air television shows and selling advertising spots. The Company operates four national networks through around 460 digital transmitters throughout Mexico that air diverse programming genres, such as live entertainment, reality, sports, musical, variety and talent shows, series and newscasts in Spanish. The Company owns one Mexican first-division soccer team, and the TV Azteca Digital platform. In addition, it operates a fiber optic network in Peru. Some of its content is aired in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe through broadcast or pay TV systems, and it also has been exported to more than 100 countries. TV Azteca has strategic alliances with different content providers for the broadcasting of TV shows and movies.
