The Kita-Nippon Bank, Ltd. (TSE:8551) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 200,000 shares, representing 2.34% of the outstanding shares for ¥300 million. The purpose of the program is to implement a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment and to improve shareholder returns. The program will run until September 30, 2019. As of May 31, 2019, the company had 8,557,811 shares outstanding and 235,965 shares in treasury.
