Tarkett reports sales of 3,359 ME for 2022, up 20.3% on the previous year (including +8.9% organic variation).

At the same time, adjusted EBITDA rose by 2.6% to 235 ME, but adjusted operating income fell by 7% to 85.8 ME.

Net income, Group share, thus showed a loss of 26.8 ME, a far cry from the 15.1 ME gain recorded twelve months earlier, giving diluted EPS of -0.41 euro, compared with +0.23 euro previously.

Regarding its outlook, Tarkett believes that the macroeconomic context will continue to weigh on the level of demand in 2023, notably due to the level of inflation and interest rate hikes.

In view of the trends at the end of 2022, Tarkett believes that the volume of business in floor covering products will experience a slowdown in the first half of 2023.

The Sports division's activities are still benefiting from a solid market and should continue to grow thanks to a strong order book, albeit at a slower pace than observed in 2022 (+33% organic growth).
