Sta. Lucia Land, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was PHP 177.45 million compared to PHP 120.26 million a year ago. Revenue was PHP 2,171.81 million compared to PHP 1,664.03 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 826.02 million compared to PHP 514.98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.1 compared to PHP 0.06 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.1 compared to PHP 0.06 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was PHP 289.26 million compared to PHP 273.45 million a year ago. Revenue was PHP 5,231.98 million compared to PHP 3,965.03 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 1,952.68 million compared to PHP 1,438.85 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.23 compared to PHP 0.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.23 compared to PHP 0.18 a year ago.
Sta. Lucia Land, Inc. is a Philippines-based developer of residential communities, with a portfolio consisting of developments that include residential, commercial, and retail assets. Its segments include Leasing and Residential Development. The Leasing segment consists of the investment properties, which includes properties held to earn rentals and are not occupied by the Company. The Residential Development segment is engaged in the development and selling of subdivision lots and condominium projects across the Philippines. Its residential projects include horizontal developments, which consist of residential lots for sale in gated subdivisions complete with facilities and amenities; and vertical developments, which comprises townhouse projects, condominium projects and condotel projects. Its commercial properties include malls, business centers, and commercial lots. Its townhouse projects consist of residential housing units, including independent and identical houses.
