Southern Sun Limited (formerly Tsogo Sun Hotels Limited) specialises in the ownership, management and operation of hotels located mainly in South Africa, the Seychelles and the Middle East. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- accommodation services (60.6%);
- catering services (27%);
- real estate leasing (3.3%);
- other (9.1%).
At the end of March 2022, the group operated 107 hotels (16,917 rooms), of which 75 wholly-owned and 32 managed on behalf of third-party owners, located primarily in South Africa (97), and owned 6 hotels managed by third parties (1,866 rooms).
South Africa accounts for 80.6% of sales.
