Societe Generale announces the appointment of Subra Suresh as Chairman of the Group's Scientific Advisory Board, effective February 1.

This appointment follows the announcement of the creation of this new advisory body in the Group's strategic roadmap, in line with Societe Generale's ambition to be a leading bank in ESG and sustainable development.

As Chairman, Subra Suresh will assist the Group in setting up the Scientific Advisory Board and its final composition.

' The aim of this body is to provide Executive Management with advice based on scientific approaches to the key trends that will influence the Group's activities in the years ahead, adopting a cross-functional and long-term perspective on the issues facing the industry ' says the Group.
