Saudi Electricity Company at its board meeting held on January 23, 2024 decided the Formation of the Audit Committee as follows: Mr. Khalid Salem Alrowais (Chairman); Dr. Amr Khalid Kurdi (Vice-chairman); Mr. Walid Ibrahim Shukri (member); Dr. Mohammed Saeed Ewyed (member) and Mr. Fawaz Mohammed Alfawaz (member). Membership Start Date for all is January 23, 2024. Khalid Salem Alrowais is holding a bachelor degree in Accounting in 1984, a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 1990, He started working in the banking oversight department at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority, from 1984 to 1995, followed by assuming the position of financing manager at Saudi Basic Industries-(SABIC) from 1996 to 2002.

In 2002, he moved to the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma 'aden), where he served as Treasury Manager for six years. His leadership and strategy skills qualified him as Executive Director and Vice-President of Strategy and Planning from 2008 to 2011. He continued to hold senior leadership positions, becoming Vice-president for Finance and Chief Finance Officer from 2011 to 2016, and then Senior Vice President for Phosphate until 2018.

His career journey also continued with achievements that reflect deep experience and strategic vision in the field of finance, management, and membership of several audit and risk committees and Boards. Walid Ibrahim Shukri is holding a bachelor's degree in industrial management (accounting specialization), from the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1989, and public accountant certification from the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) in 1992, as well as a certification from American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) He served as a former Country Senior Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), from 2008 to 2010 and he was part of the Middle East leadership team, from 2006 to 2009. He was also a former management partner from 2006 to 2008 in the same company.

His career journey also continued with achievements that reflect deep experience and strategic vision in the field of finance and management, and the membership of several audit and risk committees and Boards. Mohammed Saeed Ewayed is holding a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 1981, from the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. He was awarded a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in the same specialty from the King Saud University in 1989 and 1998 respectively.

He began his work at the Saudi Consulting Engineers House, as project engineer from 1981 to 1983. He then moved to the Saudi Electricity Company, where he promoted to various positions that eventually enabled him to serve as Executive Director of the Interconnected Grid Sector, between 1983 and 2011. From 2001 to 2015, he assumed several assignments at Saudi National Grid Company, where he started as Vice President of Maintenance until he reached the position of CEO, and also assumed the position of a Chairman of Control Systems Holding Company in 2016, continuing his valuable contributions to the power industry and electricity engineering.

Fawaz Mohammed Alfawaz is holding a bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting in 1983, from the King Saud University, completed a number of training courses in management, leadership, corporate financial strategies, financial control, corporate governance, inter-services, credit and risk management. He held several positions, including as Executive Vice-president of finance at "National Manufacturing Company, and acting Executive Vice-president of Supporting Business at the same Company, a Board Chairman of " Saudi Acrylic Acid Company, Saudi Airlines Cargo, and Saudi SAL Logistics Services, and positions at SABIC, as Executive Vice-president of Finance between 2011 and 2015, Director General of Finance between 2005 and 2010, Director General of Financial and Accounting Services between 2000 and 2004 and Assistant Vice-president of Finance in SABIC Marketing Company, between 1996 and 1999, as well as several memberships of the boards and committees. Amr Khalid Kurdi is holding a Ph.D. Degree in accounting from the University of North Texas, United States of America, and held several positions, including Chief Financial Officer - Tawuniya Insurance Company.

He served as the Chief Business Officer for the Saudi Industrial Investment Company, as well as the Chief Finance Officer of The Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company (Amiantit). He has many experiences in financial and accounting business, and membership of several corporate Boards and audit committees.
