Daewon Kangup Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A000430) acquired additional 6.25% stake in SAMWONSTEEL Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A023000) for KRW 9.1 billion on June 19, 2015. Under the terms of the deal, Daewon Kangup acquired 2.5 million shares of SAMWONSTEEL.
Daewon Kangup Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A000430) completed the acquisition of additional 6.25% stake in SAMWONSTEEL Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A023000) on June 19, 2015.
SAMWONSTEEL Co.,Ltd. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture of steel products. The Company mainly provides rolled products, materials processing, pipes and leaf springs. Its rolled products include round and square edge flat bars used in leaf springs for suspension systems, as well as round bars. Its materials processing include peeled bars and centerless ground (CGP) bars. Its pipes are used as part of stabilizers bars and torsion beams in vehicle suspension systems. Its leaf springs include leaf springs for automobiles such as multi-leaf springs, parabolic leaf springs and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, such as Japan, China, India, America, Poland and others.
