Safran announced yesterday the signing of a long-term agreement between flyadeal (low-cost airline, subsidiary of the Saudia group) and Safran Nacelles.

The agreement covers full nacelle support for flyadeal's fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft powered by LEAP-1A engines from CFM International (a 50/50 joint venture between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE Aerospace).

This collaboration reinforces flyadeal's commitment to ensuring the operational efficiency and maintenance reliability of its fleet.

Under the terms of the agreement, flyadeal will benefit from full access to Safran Nacelles' extensive range of equipment, ensuring the availability of the materials needed to respond rapidly to any in-service event.

flyadeal will also benefit from Safran Nacelles' OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions at its AMES repair station in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (AMES is a 50/50 joint venture between Safran Nacelles and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance).
