Medicina Laboratorial - Doutor Carlos da Silva Torres S.A. signed definitive agreement to acquire Base Holding SGPS, SA from F. Ramada Investimentos, SGPS, S.A. (ENXTLS:RAM) and others on July 19, 2017. Base Holding generated annual revenues of €80 million in 2016. The transaction is subject to approval of the Competition Authority and regulatory approvals. On September 19, 2017, the transaction was approved by antitrust authority. The transaction is expected to close during the second half of 2017.
