Quilter plc announced the following Board changes: Chris Hill has been appointed as an independent Non-executive Director of the company with effect from 7 March 2024. On appointment, Chris will also join the Board Audit Committee and Board Remuneration Committee. Tazim Essani and Paul Matthews have both notified the Board that they will not seek re-election at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 23 May 2024 and will both step down as independent Non-executive Directors of the Company at the conclusion of the 2024 AGM.

Tim Breedon, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Board Remuneration Committee, will assume the role as Workforce Engagement Director with effect from 23 May 2024. Chris Hill is an established figure in the financial services industry, serving on the FCA Practitioner Panel and was formerly a member of the Board of the Investment Association. He brings to the Board considerable financial expertise, together with deep knowledge of the wealth management industry.

Chris has a wealth of experience across a range of sectors, including serving as Chief Executive Officer at Hargreaves Lansdown plc, Chief Financial Officer at IG Group Holdings plc and as Chief Financial Officer of Travelex. Chris held a number of leadership roles at GE Capital after completing his accountancy qualifications with Arthur Andersen. He is on the Board of Trustees of the Just Finance Foundation and an adviser to the Boston Consulting Group.

Between 2016 and 2023, Chris served on the Board of Hargreaves Lansdown plc. He held no other directorships at listed companies during the last five years. Tazim Essani serves on the Board Audit Committee, Board Remuneration Committee and is the Workforce Engagement Director.

She will step down from these roles at the conclusion of the 2024 AGM. Paul Matthews serves on the Board Remuneration Committee and the Board Risk Committee. He will step down from these roles at the conclusion of the 2024 AGM.

He previously also served as Quilter's Workforce Engagement Director stepping down from that role at the Company's 2023 AGM.
